Vrunda Upadhyay
Vrunda Upadhyay is a multidisciplinary artist integrating Bharatanatyam, vocal music, and storytelling. She is the Artistic Director of Mudra Traditional Arts Academy and an elected committee member of the nonprofit organization BSO. With decades of experience, Vrunda creates works that bridge tradition and contemporary expression. A classically trained dancer and vocalist, she has performed across Canada and internationally, including in the award-winning contemporary dance production Temple of Desire at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2025. Recipient of the 2024 Arts Acclaim Citizen Award from the City of Brampton, she is also a mentor dedicated to nurturing young talent and community engagement.
