Deep End Programming
The Deep End is a creative immersion combining stimulating conversations and joyous surprising, collaborations. It ends with a free public presentation by the participants of the choreography created over the Weekend.
The Deep End provides dance artists who have trained in movement and theatre forms of the global diaspora the opportunity to recognize their art as vital and essential to contemporary Canadian culture.
In the course of 2-7 days, participants collaborate with, listen to and discuss with established Canadian artists from diverse cultural backgrounds and come from story-telling, dance, theatre, opera, poetry and many other art forms.
The Deep End is a unique opportunity for artists to dive into and beyond their comfort zone in a supportive and challenging environment with a wide range of aesthetics, artists and ideas.
