Dovercourt House
Join Moonhorse Dance Theatre for their current session of Dance Encounters: DANCING INTO SUMMER.
This session they offer 6 sessions with 4 accomplished contemporary dance artists!
These classes foster a “come as you are” exchange between all dance levels of participants 45+. Moonhorse Dance Theatre encourages folks both professional and non-professional to join! Some classes are straight up fun choreographic classes and others are designed to push the boundaries of creative autonomy and individual voices.
June 14
Join MDT Artistic Director, Allison Cummings, and Brodie Stevenson as they pair world-class wines with delectable dance (select pieces from previous O&R productions).
All funds raised from this event will go directly towards amplifying the voices of lifelong dance artists!

The Citadel
Dreamwalker Dance Company presents Toronto’s premiere of Firehorse & Shadow, a co-production with Citadel + Compagnie. Combining elements of contemporary dance, shadow puppetry, animation, video and theatre, Firehorse & Shadow explores cosmology, family histories, relationships, Chinese medicine, wellness, food, and fate. Firehorse & Shadow is co-created by choreographer/performer/writer Andrea Nann, shadow artist/performer Annie Katsura Rollins, director/dance-storyteller Sarah Chase, and dramaturge/visual artist Cindy Mochizuki with music by Ben Grossman, animation by Elysha Poirier, and lighting by Echo Zhou (after Jennifer Lennon).
