Kalaishiga Kalaichelvan

Kalaishiga Kalaichelvan is a recent Honours graduate from the University of Toronto, with a degree in Sociology and Criminology & Socio-Legal Studies. Alongside her academic path, she has trained in Bharatanatyam since childhood and carries a lifelong love of dance, music, and film. She's drawn to the ways art and community intersect, and to questions of local economies and public programming, particularly how policy is shaped by data and everyday experience. This fall, she begins her Master of Public Policy and Administration at Toronto Metropolitan University. As Mission Control Coordinator, Kalaishiga is glad to bring her organizational eye and her love of the arts to supporting Nova Dance's work.
